Do you want to apply your learnings to benefit the lives of others?  Following an intimate conversation with an inspirational leader who is making a huge impact on the lives of the underprivileged in India, celebrate the launch of the first of its kind Global Connectivity E-Mentorship Program between selected UBC faculties including the Sauder School of Business and Applied Science, Vidya Integrated Development for Youth and Adults in India, and the Mahindra Foundation. This student-born initiative focuses on the empowerment and development of women and youth in India through mentorship and training with UBC students.

About Rashmi Misra

Rashmi Misra is the founder and chairperson of VIDYA (Vidya Integrated Development For Youth and Adults) a well-known non-profit organization in India. Vidya’s mission is to educate and empower the less privileged through integrated methods to initiate and implement progressive social change. Rashmi has a degree in History from Lady Sri Ram College (New Delhi). In addition to her work with VIDYA, she is involved in many social development programs both in Delhi and Mumbai.
